Lagerstroemia Speciosa, also known as the Queen crape myrtle, is very similar to the Lagerstroemia Tuscarora tree in appearance. However, the Queen crape myrtle tree is larger and has the potential to grow up to 60 feet tall with a spread of up to 40 feet. The tree produces foot-long inflorescences carrying large, showy blooms that are 2-3 inches wide and range in color from pink to lavender. Its fruits consist of dry, hard brown round oval capsules that are 1-2 inches long, with seeds and cuttings used for propagation.
